Foivos recently earned his PhD in Chemistry from the University of La Rioja in Logroño, Spain, where he was a PhD/Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellow under the DIRNANO consortium. His doctoral research focused on the development of innovative cancer vaccines and diagnostic tests. His extensive experience with laboratory techniques, including synthetic organic chemistry techniques, assay development, and vaccine/nanomedicinal formulations, complements his skills in cell and molecular biology.

"Foivos' expertise in cutting-edge research and his commitment to scientific innovation align perfectly with our goals of having the best expertise in Norway," says Anne Wildeng, Head of the Patent Department.

Foivos also holds a bachelor's degree in biology and a master's degree in nanomedicine from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. During his studies, he explored the potential of hyperthermic Fe3O4 nanoparticles in cancer treatment and worked on texture analysis of medical images. His participation in various research projects has equipped him with valuable skills in pharmacogenomics, hyperthermia, preclinical PET/CT imaging, and translational research.

We look forward to collaborating with Foivos and are excited to leverage his exciting expertise to create value for our clients.

Welcome to the team, Foivos!
