We are strengthening the team with international expertise – Meet Katri and Georgios

Katri has over 20 years’ experience working as an IP expert, specializing in trademarks and designs in Finnish and European market. She has in particular assisted companies and clients in the fields of telecommunication, fashion and design, gaming and the automotive industry. One of Katris biggest strengths is her strategic ability to identify and map out clients’ business-critical IP assets, and combining different intellectual property tools to protect and support companies in creating value.

Katri joins Bryn Aarflot from the renowned Finnish business law firm Castrén & Snellman Attorneys, where she spent six years building the company’s IP prosecution practise.

Georgios is an experienced scientist within academic research. Before joining Bryn Aarflot, he was a researcher at the Center for Interstellar Catalysis at Aarhus University in Denmark, where he had initially been employed as a PhD/Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow and, after he had acquired his PhD, as a Postdoctoral Fellow. His area of specialization was within material physics, focusing mainly on laboratory astrochemistry and functional materials and molecules.

Georgios will advise customers in a wide range of subjects within physics, nanotechnology, mechanics and materials technology.
