The innovation grant Oppdrift is back!

In 2021, we teamed up with Los & Co and IGAIDI to develop a grant providing support worth 1 million NOK for an established company having an idea for real sustainable development. The grant consisted of consultancy, products, and services, which are essential for the innovation process and can bring an idea to the world.

In the first round of Oppdrift, the grant went to the innovative company Seaweed Solutions . We aim to repeat the success of 2021 and, with more partners on board, we look forward to promoting a new, green idea.

This year’s theme for Oppdrift is green tech. With increasing environmental challenges, green and sustainable innovation has never been more important. To meet the requirements of the Paris Agreement and support the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, the Oppdrift grant will assist technologies that help create a green future. It is not enough to simply talk about sustainability, we must invest in the ideas that can make a real difference – and we know there are many such projects in Norway. Oppdrift is a grant for and by future optimists who, together with us, will work to make a tangible difference, one green idea at a time.

This year, the grant is a collaboration between Teknisk Ukeblad, Bryn Aarflot, Los & Co, and IGAIDI. We all share a common commitment to enhance the ability of business sectors to innovate and create value with sustainable solutions.
