Petter Andrésen

Primary expertise

Petter has more than 20 years of experience in creating value with intellectual property rights, from both IP agencies and the industry, most recently as an IP Operations Manager at Yara International. Leading Bryn Aarflot’s team of patent administrators, he is involved in all processes in Bryn Aarflot’s patent department to ensure efficient administration of the clients’ IP rights.

Petter has extensive experience in procedures related to the filing of patent applications, management of global patent and trademark portfolios and renewals, registration of Unitary Patent and EP validations, employee inventions and compensation, filing strategies, as well as responsibility for maintenance of IP management systems. Petter’s experience from industry and IP agencies ensures an optimal customer journey for Bryn Aarflot’s clients through services tailored to their specific needs.

Petter is both EPO certified patent administrator (EPAC, 2022) and EUIPO certified trademark/design paralegal (2021-2022), and is active as vice-chair in NAIPA (Norwegian Association for IP Administrators). Petter has also previously served as board member of NIP (Norwegian Association for IP Managers).
