Primary expertise
Linda holds extensive experience in general and strategic patents counselling, patent drafting and prosecution and IP analysis including patent oppositions, administrative limitation and infringement analyses. She also conducts patent searches. Linda represents clients before the Patent Offices and PCT authorities.
Her clients span from small Norwegian businesses to large national and international corporations within process technology, chemical engineering, oil and gas industry and water and gas purification.
Background
Linda graduated from Oslo and Akershus University College in 1987, and from the University of South-Eastern Norway in 1992 as MSc. in Process Technology. She worked at Equinors Research Center from 1993-2000, within chemical engineering and process technology. She started as a patent examiner at the Norwegian Industrial Property Office in 2000, examining patent applications within the fields chemical engineering, process technology and gas purification. After that she worked seven years as a patent attorney at Tandberg Innovation, before joining . Bryn Aarflot in 2020.
