
Primary expertise
Hanna is an associate attorney at Bryn Aarflot, where she primarily works with patent and trademark law issues in the firm's litigation and dispute resolution team. In patent law, Hanna works primarily with contentious matters, as well as general and strategic counseling. In trademark law, she assists clients with everything from general IP strategy, clearances and prosecution to enforcement and litigation.
Furthermore, Hanna also works with marketing law, where she among other things has experience with dispute resolution in the Norwegian Industry's Competition Committee (Næringslivets Konkurranseutvalg, NKU), in addition to general and strategic counseling.
Background
Hanna graduated with a master's degree in law from the University of Oslo in 2024. She specialized in intellectual property law during her studies, where she took electives in marketing law, patent and trademark law and copyright law. Hanna is particularly interested in patent law and wrote her master's thesis on plausibility in Norwegian patent law in light of the G 2/21 decision by the Enlarged Board of Appeal of the EPO. She received a scholarship from NIR (Norwegian Association for the Protection of Industrial Property) for her thesis.
During the last years of her studies, Hanna worked part-time in the patent department at Bryn Aarflot. She has also completed traineeships in several of Norway's largest law firms.
