Frode has many years of experience, offering strategic advice on a range of legal matters within IP and he has assisted with securing and developing some of the world’s most famous brands. He works with both domestic and international clients, and ensures he takes time to fully understand his client’s needs. He works primarily with intellectual property rights, including trademarks, copyright, design, and patents; enforcement; litigation and dispute resolution; unfair competition; and marketing law as well as IPR strategy work in general.
Background
Frode graduated with a law degree (Cand. Jur. / Master of Laws, LL.M.) from the University of Oslo in 2000.
In 1998-99 he served as a research assistant at the University of Oslo, the Faculty of Law, Department of Public and International Law. Frode has previously worked as an associate at the full-service business law firm Haavind AS, he was admitted to the Norwegian Bar in 2003, and he has also served as a deputy judge at Toten District Court (now Vestre Innlandet District Court) from 2002 – 2005. He also has many years of experience from the IP business, including as an attorney at law at Zacco from 2010 – 2023.
Frode joined Bryn Aarflot again in October 1, 2023, after having also been an attorney at law at Bryn Aarflot from 2005 – 2007.
