Georgios Pantazidis
Primary expertise
Georgios assists clients with, among other things, drafting patent applications and further handling of these, infringement assessments and freedom to operate analyses (FTO). He works proactively and solution-oriented and is very concerned with a value-creating dialogue with his customers.
Georgios assists our clients in a wide range of fields, mostly within physics, nanotechnology, mechanics and materials technology.
His working languages are English and Norwegian, while he has some knowledge of Danish and German.
Background
Georgios holds a PhD in Physics from Aarhus University, which he completed as a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow in 2021. He has also acquired a MSc in Materials Physics in 2018, and a BSc in Physics in 2016, both from National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
He has extensive experience in academic research and expertise in laboratory techniques related to materials and nanoscience. During his Postdoc period in 2021, he designed, conducted and coordinated an experiment at a large storage ring facility. This was a continuation of his PhD, where he studied the atomic functionalization of carbonaceous molecules under interstellar and circumstellar conditions using a broad range of nanoscience techniques. In his BSc and MSc theses, he investigated with the use of spectroscopies and microscopy, mixtures of polymers with organic and/or inorganic micro- or nanoparticles, for their potential use as biocompatible electrodes.
