Cecilia Orheim

Primary Expertise

Cecilia has special expertise in complex, international IP litigation. She assists clients with strategies and coordinates legal proceedings worldwide and has previously led major legal processes across multiple continents. Her international experience in conflict resolution and strategic legal work includes industries such as pharmaceuticals, design, technology, and energy.

She has extensive experience in assisting clients with commercial exploitation of intellectual property rights, including developing licensing strategies and negotiating license agreements.

With more than 20 years of experience in developing IP strategies to protect and enforce intellectual property rights, combined with a well-developed commercial understanding, Cecilia brings extensive IP expertise to a diverse range of industries.

Background

Cecilia received her law degree (Cand.Jur.) from the University of Oslo in 1998. She was admitted to the Norwegian Bar in 2016. She has practiced as a lawyer in two of the largest law firms in Norway and has been leading the legal departments in innovation-driven companies such as Pronova BioPharma, Stokke, Huddly, and Hystar.
